designator communities: aviators, SWO, SUB, SEAL, EOD, etc. Also worked in several joint commands. I had a couple of USNA guys that also went CEC at my first duty station and we were all commissioned roughly the same time. Worked with a lot of academy grads. Great friends, great guys and gals.

In the corporate world I find both to be very good individual performers, but the West Point grads are a notch above when it comes to leadership. Yes this is anecdotal, but it keeps getting confirmed when I interview JMOs who are leaving the service, and when I observe business leaders with the two backgrounds.
