95% of the time it's better to go from Provo, through Heber, Evanston, Cokeville then Ashton. Idaho Falls through Swan
Valley and Victor then over Teton Pass rarely is better and never faster unless there's some major problems on the other route.
Going through Cache Valley and Montpellier is really not faster. I have used that route but even then, If want to stop in Logan for some reason or another I'll go from Star Valley through Soda Springs instead of through Montpellier.

So good for them. I cringe when I hear of adults who don't venture far from their own town for anxiety over driving.
