Its good to not be too portal dependent. Build a base with HS recruits, then
find good players in the portal to supplement your team and fill immediate needs.
It is a big risk to bring in 20+ portal guys a year to build your roster. BYU had issues because of that in 2023.
Feels like BYU football is on the right track in that sense.
