He basically said why should I bang myself up and try to life more weights when I’m the fastest strongest athlete on the field in any game I play. The sad part was, it was true and his coaches knew it too. Some people are just born with a golden ticket.
I had a guy two years ahead of me in high school. He was a state champion in football and basketball and nearly baseball his senior year. He was lazy, slow, wasn’t particularly strong at all for his size, and he didn’t have a great attitude. But he was also 6’7 and dominated because of it.
