As a disclaimer maybe part of the problem is I’ve seen every plot that there is so nothing seems new but…. That said here’s a few of my qualms.

Cliches- I understand people use cliches because they work but cliches to me are just lazy writing exposed.

Equality- Nothing distracts me more then when a person of race or gender doesn’t belong in their respective role just to make sure we have the token under represented person in the show.

Women- Super model women beating up men twice their size is the quickest way for me to be done with a show. Unfortunately it’s in just about every show now.

Plausible explanations- I understand you have to suspend reality to watch shows but when something happens out of the ordinary, simply write something clever to explain it.

Quit when it’s time- Know when the plots have reached their end. Don’t extend a show like Walking dead for years past its due date.
