What a fun and exciting time to be a Cougar fan. Football has blown past all preseason expectations.

Hoops has several NBA guys on the roster and we’ve got some great home games coming up this year too.

I just wanted to announce we are doing a giveaway exclusively for CougarBoard. Anyone who subscribes to CougConnect using the CougarBoard link below will be entered to win a BYU Basketball signed by this year’s hoops team. (If you’re patient I can probably get it signed by AJ as well)

An insider subscription gets you one entry

A silver subscription gets you four entires

A gold subscription gets you ten entries

The reason we are doing this now is because it is football transfer portal season. We are talking with a P4 starter at a position of need about coming to BYU next season. This is a great player who has BYU in his final choices. 90% or more of the subscription money is used to create NIL deals for players like him.

CougConnect is offering to supplement his NIL (if he chooses BYU and can come work with us to create content for fans). All the subscriptions that happen over the next 48 hours will go on top of his deal.

Should he go elsewhere (but, honestly I know we are really close on this) we can offer it to another transfer portal starter who contacts us or it’ll just go to the players we have retained.
