There are four guys on our team who have superior athleticism for D1 players: Stewart, Mag, Catchings, & Keita.
That's it. No, I'm not forgetting anyone. That amounts to three role players & a pup with a seriously high ceiling.
Besides that, we've got a few "good" D1 athletes as well — AND one of the strongest dudes in the business in Fouss (who might not be a superior athlete by D1 standards, but who has rare mobility for the size of dude that he is (particularly given that he carries the lion's share of it in his core)).
Anyway, let's keep this in mind when we're evaluating & describing our players — for good or for bad. Yes, it's great to have a physically capable BYU roster for once. But in that regard, we're STILL a below-average bunch for a P4 school. Which MEANS if you want your Cougars to have a CHANCE of winning every game they're in this season — every one of our guys are gonna have bad nights.
It's the result of putting in the effort & taking the risks required — to beat superior natural talent.
