Cold weather gear guide. Do this. You’ll be fine
Up top, with a base layer, long sleeve tee, some kind of windbreaker, and something like a hoodie. Or you might possibly get away with 3 layers if you have a good parka, but only use if it’s school colors. They have good ones in the bookstore if you can find your size. The royal blue layer goes on top whatever you choose.

Thermals and jeans, or if you get really cold, thermals and snow pants. Most of y’all are from Utah, and I’m sure you have a good ones for skiing.

One regular pair of socks, covered by a thicker wool pair. Normal shoes will do, but throw on some boots if you must.

Stocking cap or ball cap if you want to make use of the actual hood on your hoodie

Gloves that enable you to use your phone without removing said gloves. If you’re one of the few that can refrain from phone use, throw some mittens over the top of your gloves and your hands will be comfortable. Or double layer said gloves with a thin+ heavier pair. Hand warmers are also good.

Send someone on a hot chocolate run at some point.

On the night prior to attending BYU-Kansas, was snowed on for 4 quarters at a high school game. Was comfortable at both outings. You won’t feel like the Michelin man with this layer combo, and you’ll be comfortable enough to enjoy the game.
