VERY comfortable with contact - in particular at guard play. Veterans know how to play aggressive without getting whistled. I feel like their hands were all over our guards and it made Demin and Hall kind of quick to get rid of the ball. Hall I think was shaking off rust. Demin I think just hasn’t experienced that in his collegiate play yet.

They seemed to settle a bit and get more used to it in the latter part of the 2nd half, which is encouraging. I’m glad they got this experience before starting in Big XII play. Guards in the Big XII always push the limits of how physical they can play on defense - especially teams like Iowa State, Houston, and Kansas State.

Great prep game and impressed with how the boys grew.
