That is, unless I had an axe to grind
I'd that was the case, I'd say, "Well I played for BYU, but we've kind of drifted apart since back then. I'm 100% ASU for this game."
But....maybe having that kind of grace and maturity is more important when it's just 18-24 year Olds wearing blue.
