There’s service and then there’s being a doormat. Last minute moves are not
emergencies.
A sister’s water line breaking and she needs help turning it off is. Somebody needing help watching kids because somebody is headed to the ER is an emergency.
Somebody’s lack of common courtesy and springing a last minute move onto somebody is their problem.
It’s reasonable to tell somebody that you’re unavailable at THEIR chosen date and time.
