Loyal2royal has it right. College Game Day explained it really well this last
Saturday, to try to clear up all the confusion. It's still likely if BYU wins the CCG that they are in. But, the first round bye may be off the table if BYU (or whatever B12 team wins the CCG) can't sneak ahead of BSU and / or SMU / Miami in the CFP rankings.
