My mind was overcome with Joy about BYU this morning.

I still remember laughing and mocking when rumors started flying that the Pac 10 could invite Utah....7-9 months later my heart sank when that exact thing happened.

I remember the anger, when Utah tried to tank our program by tattling on us to the Mountain West. But I embraced, and even enjoyed Independence, as difficult as that was.

Meanwhile Utah held their Pac 12 status over our heads, always trying to remind us, with their tats and stickers, that we were doomed to irrelevance.

9 straight losses.

But then 2021...... The little kid, christmas eve excitement of the official announcement to being invited to the Big 12. The next day sending Utah home with a victory formation. Going 5-0 against he Conference of Champions. GLorious.

The magical 2023 offseason, watching the Pac 12 implode and the Utes losing their minds. Finding out that it was pretty much Utah's fault with their overvaluation that was a huge cause in the PACs demise....chef's kiss on that whole thing

And after such an abysmal outlook for the 2024 season, to have us leading the conference, beating Utah in such a "rip their heart out" fashion, and the world finally seeing what we have seen for years.......AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME.

All of that is just the cherry on the top of

We are playing great, we are in contention for a Conference Title, year 2 of P4. We are seeing the fruits of Kalani's culture. this season, a culture that embodies Christ message to the world. We enjoy a world class atmosphere at home games, and we have the frick'in CougarTail (we do need to resurrect the BratTail).

I dont really follow Basketball, but I see the excitement, and am happy for our program. Our track and XC teams are at the top.....
