Literally and indisputably: the most difficult first four starts that a BYU QB
Has ever had to face. No UTEP, no UNLV, no option to ease in -
Four quality P4 opponents right out of the gates. Two of them ranked, all of them talented.
Never happened - not to J Mac, Ty, Steve Young, Sark, Max, NONE of them had to do that - and yet he / we came inside of a whisker of winning the last two.
The first two were MASSIVE team losses. The last two involved a lot of great plays and we fell short.
