1st off the stadium was fun. Never been here. I'm a sucker for older stadiums. Loved going to Kansas last year.

I was able to take my son to his first away game. I actually made this kind of a big deal for him and told him months ago that we would go to a game. I bought him new BYU shirts, etc. Usually it has been me and my wife that do an away game. (Just been our tradition).

He has been excited for a long time. He likes BYU but hasn't been really into them much. I've done home games with everyone, but thought maybe he would love a one on one trip with Dad to a game.

BEST DECISION I HAVE EVER MADE

He loved it! He has been into the game more than ever, he was crazy excited through out the game. Wanted to stay after the game to see players. Asked questions about calls and what's happening on the field.

Basically I think this kind of trip and game was his "when I became a BYU fan" moment.

So thank you BYU! Thank you for having a really fun game (screw you refs for trying to ruin a great game 😁) .

It was stressful and I would have loved it to be less close and not needing a pick to finish it, but it was the exciting game my son needed.
