by the Pyramids. I went downtown Cairo to hit lunch and a museum, but I just wouldn't spend time in that city when there is so much to see and do. Certainly no Cairo tour guide needed. Awful city.

If you have extra time after seeing all the good stuff in Egypt, maybe head to Jordan or one of the resort towns on the sea.
