I certainly have stories that makes me relate to this. It really hits home right now, too, because my oldest child is 14 right now, and I can't imagine the struggle as a parent.

Both of them eventually have stabilized their lives (relative to this tumultuous times) and have been able to be mostly successful adults (again, relatively speaking), despite making life harder for themselves than necessary.
