I did not state that. No one here has said that. If you want to have that debate
post something that isn't absurd. Make an absurd post and be called out. Make a reasonable post and have a reasonable discussion. Probably best to understand how CB and social media work.

Someone making $60,000 should earn more. I made $47.5k in my first permanent job nearly 30 years ago, which is way more than that adjusted for inflation. If you are making $60,000, you probably need to buy a small home (1/3 to 1/2 the size of your example) or rent a small apartment in an inexpensive area. Someone straight out of trade school will make way more than $60,000. If you don't want to go to trade school or another form of school or you go to school for an area that is not very employable, life is likely to be hard for you.

Houses are expensive, but getting less so with interest rates falling and home prices (at least for now) not going up much. I graduated BYU in the 3rd worst employment period in the last 40 years. I lived in small apartments, never ate out, made hard choices and eventually bought a house many years later, after finally finding the right job after years of struggling based on your example. Joy filled times for me and my wife.
