her version of her grandma's meat sauce... yeah, I am told the Italian word for it translates best to "gravy"....
I am privileged to get to help (i skin and slice up the sausage... ) when she cooks up several quarts of this... and hands out a few of them.... I know the basics of the recipe.. but she never measures anything.... just does the thing she does....
the worst it's been is 55 years of great meals... even when she's not happy with me... she cooks! I envy me!
