But we did it for three reasons

1- it’s a rambler, and with old age we need to put everything on one level. They are harder to find in Utah because land is scarce and when they do make them, they tend to be bigger

2- we wanted our house to be where our kids congregated with their friends. We wanted a no drugs, porn, or other corrosive things type of environment. This took a bigger downstairs

3- we wanted to have a place where our kids can come live for a short time later in life, should they need to. This had a us go bigger

4- frankly, I gave in to what my wife wanted.
