My son is on a low dose of Lexapro, he is 10 and has been on it for about 2 years. I have anxiety and OCD personally and it seems to be very prevalent within my siblings and their kids. We tried counseling first and behavior things (CBT) for like 1 year and didn't see any iomprovement. The medication doesn't take it all away but it does maybe like take the edge off so the melt downs aren't so epic and long lasting.
