Also, even with all the reasons I and other have listed, I currently am the only income in my household. I make about 80,000 per year and have a family and a home and multiple vehicles etc. Im doing fine. I also dont have any of the subscriptions I listed and dont try to keep up the jones. Im frugal. Live within my means. I had a pandora subscription for a while. It was like 6 dollars per month. Decided I could listen to some ads and save the 6 dollars per month.

Most dont live within their means. Most aren't frugal. Most try to keep up with the jones. And all that spending just makes prices go up (supply and demand capitalism)

If society will pay for all the crap, then all the crap will go up in cost.
