There is always enough time — the question is how you choose to prioritize your time. Admittedly, I’m on the lazy side.
I save most of my energy for the things I prioritize like work, exercise and kids. Outside of that, I’m really lazy and unmotivated.

My wife is opposite of me. She is highly productive and has a ton of energy. She works during the day, cleans the house, maintains the yard and weeds, takes our 4 kids to and from practices and games among many other things and yet plans out meals every single week and cooks at least 5-6 dinners a week along with making “healthy snacks” to eat during the week. Our boys are extremely active in sports activities. In baseball season alone we average 12 games or more a week.

She is up from 6am til midnight each day with hardly a wasted minute. It’s just how she is wired. In her head, she has a more expanded list of priorities and among them is cooking healthy and nutritious meals for our family. Again, I’m lazy and don’t have the energy to do any of this if it were up to me. My kids would be eating frozen pizza, ramens and all the other junk if it were left up to me.

Point is — there is plenty of time. The question is do you have the energy and do you prioritize your time in order to cook or are you the lazy type like I am? Lazy people (like me) will always have excuses to not cook while high energy/productive people will always find the time.
