Yep, exactly my point. LOTS of extra people in every transaction.
30 years ago (yeah, I'm old!) my Professor for PhD program complained...
"Look at the university directory. You have less than 1 in 10 people that actually TEACH STUDENTS. 30 years ago" (he said, so 60 years ago now) "MOST of the people working at the University actually TAUGHT STUDENTS!"
