My daughter decided to be a SAHM. She’s 28 with #2 on the way.
It’s 100% about choice. They are as poor as snot. He gets paid too little by his employer.

My other daughter will probably be poorer. No idea what she will decide. Not married, 25 and dropped out of college as a senior.

My children are nothing like their accountant father with their financial and career choices. Their financial life is not going to be easy and more challenging if they decide to be SAHM like their mom. But to suggest they have no choice is absurd.

I totally disagree with the “it’s impossible” folks. Weak sauce. We live in America and can do whatever we want if we want it bad enough. Too many people don’t realize that almost always it takes sacrifice of some sort to get what you want and their formula is “no sacrifice or it’s impossible”. Nothing is impossible. Get off your phones and do something about it.
