get dressed/showered and leave the house and go someplace to spend your money. That took effort and time and sometimes you didn't have the time or want to make the effort to go buy the thing that popped into your head that you wanted/thought you needed.

Now you have amazon/online shopping for literally everything. And they bring it right to your door. Takes zero time and zero effort.

I hate how often deliveries arrive at my house. Drives me crazy. Doesn't bother my wife though sadly.
