I'm under 40, have 4 kids, make less than $100k a year-
We've been a single income family our entire married life, except for student jobs in college.

We live in the Rural Midwest- is that why we have been able to do it? Is it just that we don't have some of the same things as others (we certainly seem to take less expensive trips than some on here)?

Reading this board, it seems like people feel like it is impossible for me to exist, or for people to live the lifestyle we do. I am really not trying to brag- I just don't understand.
