there was a thread earlier in the season where people were saying that Rockwood
is leaning into next season's recruiting class (top drawer shows 9 High School commits slated to be freshman next season). Also with the possible huge NCAA settlement, there is the proposed restructuring of the sport where there will be a hard cap on a 28 player roster.

Also add in Stratton and Jorgensen coming back from missions who would be sure to make the 28 player roster if they choose to come back to BYU after their missions.

My take on the numbers is with only 2 seniors on the roster (Warner and Hansen) and with 9 incoming players (28-11 = 17) only 17-18 players from current roster will be picked up for next year. Someone quoted Rockwood as saying if that happens she will be sad because she will pick around 12 underclassmen players from current roster to let go.
