Sorry, I misspoke, an 8-win Oklahoma would not be in the discussion
to make the playoffs. Three of the highly ranked teams on your list would have beaten Oklahoma and would be ranked higher. Not gonna be in the discussion. The top ranked 8-4 team at the end of last season before the playoff was #20 Oregon State. There were no 3-loss teams in the top 12.
