What's that gonna prove?

The only semi-positive for the Mets if they do that is the Braves would be forced to burn two quality starting pitchers which would kill their WC odds vs SD. They'd basically be eliminating both the Braves and D'backs with one stone, but so what? It would still cost them a day of travel, which is unecessary wear and tear on their own team while Milwaukee is resting.


Fly from Milwaukee to Atlanta on Sunday night, play two meaningless games (for them), to then immediately fly right back to Milwaukee.
