you also have to remove to get to it, and then one of the bolts to remove that is behind a duct that you also have to remove, and that you then need a new gasket to replace the manifold, and then you accidentally drop a bolt in the engine compartment that you have to spend another 20 minutes taking stuff apart to retrieve it, and then you strip a screw putting it all back together and have to run to Autozone to get a new one.
At least, that's how it always is anytime I work on my own cars.
