How would MLB react to the Mets choosing to forfeit 2 games when it would mean the difference between the Braves or D'backs making the playoffs (and affect seeding)?


I mean, if I'm the Mets in that scenario we forfeit those games without even a second thought. Don't even waste our time being there playing some minor league pitchers we called up for the day backed by as many subs as possible.
