In the case of BYU, fans need to understand the unique strengths and limitations. We certainly will never be a Georgia, Alabama, Texas, etc. But can we be consistently good? Top 25? Yes, and we have the resources and support to do so.

I guess I'd also argue that even when we aren't performing well, being a BYU fan can still be so rewarding because of the unique strengths. A fun gameday environment is one small part of that, but there is so much more.
