It is a well known strategy of the insurance companies
They increase prices for long term customers and wait for them to cancel.
Shopping your insurance every five to ten years is a good idea.

That sucks. I am in Utah and have USAA and my rates have stayed the same and in some cases gone down

I'm in WA and have had USAA for 40+ years. USAA has gone up 30+% over the past year, but we'll still stay with them
