I put together a visual of the experience on this staff, including Linehan for now which obviously could change if that's not the official last coach. If Linehan's in, and I'm including Stewart b/c of his 18 years in coaching, here's a few numbers of interest.

*Excluding KY (who obv coached dozens), the staff has coached nearly 40 guys who made the NBA.
*They've coached 6 lottery picks, with potential for 2 more in 2025 (Stanford's top 40 guys last year)
*54 years of college coaching and 59 years of pro/int'l
*Coaching experience in 9 different countries
*23 years of professional basketball experience in 10 different countries
*2 LDS coaches, 5 that are not. All 7 not raised in Utah.
*4 guys with P5 experience (Georgia, 3 pac 12)
*Michael Davies our trainer also boasts 8 years with the Bucks training Giannis & co

What I like about this staff also is this is a group of grinders. All started at the bottom, all have taken roles in far flung places, all (but Burgess) did not play for elite basketball programs and no one played in the NBA.

These guys are COACHES through and through and look like lifers and hustlers. Color me stoked.

The diversity of experience across Club/NCAA/NBA/International is incredible, but none of the 7 guys have coached in the Big 12 and blending a new staff and roster in a stacked Big 12 is an immense challenge for sure!
