PAC says no invite until contract finalized
Big12 says you are our 5th choice and we have to wait and see if our other choices are staying in PAC or leaving but they want to wait until they see the contract

SDSU has a huge penalty if they leave after June 30th and there is no finalized PAC contract so they told the MWC that they intend to leave if they get an invite and they would like to extend June 30 deadline by 30 days. Now they are going back and forth with MWC to figure out who can get most money/power until the leave…if they do.
