4* active LDS QB just flipped
Not to BYU… Sam Leavitt
#10 QB in country. Been committed to WSU for a year recently received offers from UW and Michigan St. now going to Michigan St. UofO may get into fray now that their 5* just flipped to UCLA
Oregon Gatorade POY. Known commodity for yrs. Active LDS. Big whiff by BYU. No action from them at all during whole process. Nothing against the kid from Springville, but guess they just prefer local guys with mediocre stats on mediocre teams rather than looking for too LDS talent elsewhere.
The two weeks of football camp that are so important for prospective BYU recruits- all Oregon schools are still in session and during finals. Kids aren’t going, missing a couple possible LDS BYU type mid/high 3* + kids every year from Oregon because of this. They go P5 elsewhere.
