All of mine are older Craftsman or whatever cord models. I don't think I'd go with a cordless vac but haven't used one.

I use my Ryobi 18v blower all the time and it works great. Get enough from one battery to do most any job. I've always got charged batteries ready when needed.

Gas powered blowers are more powerful so if a person needs heavier duty that's what they should go with. I have them but don't use them anymore. They are more trouble and take gas and noisy and whatnot so use the Ryobi instead.
