Great dogs. I grew up with goldens my whole life, but...

Our current French Bulldog is the best dog I’ve ever owned. Best temperament, good with everyone and adjusts attitude all the time based on person, good with dogs, low maintenance, small poops, hilarious personality, good watch dog but not yappy, loves every family member, and is just overall amazing. Has become my number 1 and I never thought I would like smaller dogs.

I use to think a labrador but I am pretty sold on my english setter. Great personality and great in the field.

Yep. Our experience too. I think some are more hyper. Ours has the perfect combo of playful when we want, mostly mellow.

We really lucked out with our Australian Shepherd. Very friendly with adults, kids, and other dogs.
