Our Golden Doodle is ok, but I liked my shih tzu better

But my doodle is only a year old. Maybe he'll improve. The two things I can't stand. He has a loud bark and barks a lot. And we can't get him to stop counter surfing.

Freaking drives me nuts.

My shih tzu was pretty much perfect in every way.

I use to think a labrador but I am pretty sold on my english setter. Great personality and great in the field.

Yep. Our experience too. I think some are more hyper. Ours has the perfect combo of playful when we want, mostly mellow.
