As I recall his mom was treated with some pretty vile treatment. Certainly not the whole fan base, but they have some pretty vile ones. They're getting a pretty bad rap, at least from a few ASU fans I've spoken with who were neutral to the U before they won the lottery, but said that they go to games all around the league and they've never seen anything so bad as the UofU. Again, not their whole fan base, but a very vocal minority are really making the institution look like trailer trash.
