My wife's sister left us her 2018 Odyssey last year for a week. We used it to drive my wife's nephew up to scout camp... long story short...
We are flying down I-15 headed back home and the front tire blew. The tire just disintegrated going ~ 85mph. I was able to get the car from the left lane across all (i think 3) other lanes and stop on the shoulder (somewhere between Payson and Spanish Fork).
A UHP officer pulled over just as I was getting out to look at the damage. He said he watched the tire explode and thought for sure there was going to be an accident. We both were impressed with how the Honda handled the event.
I got the tire changed, gave the officer one of the McDonalds cheeseburgers the kids where eating (We assumed it was standard mini-van etiquette to get some fries lost under the seat), and he followed us to Spanish Fork to make sure we made it safe (the spare was low on air).
After all was said and done, my wife said "Wow.. maybe we should think about a minivan"... We all had a good laugh and then finished our drive home.
