is more convenient, but we like it better.

Though I will say there are a few things about it that are more convenient. The price tag is certainly more convenient. It is also more convenient when it comes to driving in lots of snow, or doing things outdoors that require driving in rough conditions. There are several local-ish places we go for fun frequently that would not be accessible via minivan.

We went on vacation for a week, driving to another state. We had 4 adults and 3 children in the car, and we were all quite comfortable. I minivan likely would have been more comfortable, but it worked out just fine.
