The main knock on St. George is the summer heat.
It's not Phoenix or even Las Vegas, but the summer months can be brutal.
However, sometimes in July & Aug even SLC will hit the 100's.

Easy to find bigger lots in Mapleton. Just expect to pay $200k+ for that .5 acre.
