Whole team needs chemistry. I'm less worried about their chemistry and more about Rose pulling the team together and getting the most out of it. Of course it doesn't hurt but I think he's making a bit of a ridiculous gesture trying to compare certain things at BYU to some of the biggest basketball programs in NCAA history.
His point was suggesting BYU will have an advantage over teams because of the chemistry of 3 guys a few years ago. I just countered with the fact that it doesn't seem to matter for some of the best teams every single year so I'm trying to be realistic that it's not much of an advantage.
Fortunately as I said in another thread about not necessarily needing Frank Jackson, it's March Madness. Anything can happen. Be nice if BYU would do better during the regular season to get in a better position, but anything can happen.
They could be very well set up in two seasons. I know I know, CB says that all the time right? I haven't. I never thought this season would amount to much, nor last season, and I knew the potential wasn't going to hit until next year and beyond. They'll have more size and athleticism than they've had in who knows how long. That's a start.
But I'm definitely not about to hop on Rosey's annual train any time soon. I'll wait a year or two then I guess I'll have to jump on bstod's train because he'll be all over this board like white on rice.
