Who cares if they had the "heart of their teams" play together in HS.
That's totally irrelevant as it clearly doesn't matter for the top teams each year. That's not a requirement, especially for the teams full of All Americans.
BYU also isn't getting talent like those teams you mention. Of course they have success right away when they have the players and the coaches that they have. I'm also not so sure those 3 were so underrated in their player rankings.
