It's not "convincing," it just is. One is simply further along than the other,

Sitake has only ever coached at one FBS school. After 4 years of coaching at that single FBS school, he was promoted to DC.

Nobody, at least nobody with any brains, would ever say those two career paths were similar in any possible way. Thank you for opening my eyes.
