(C) Therefore - he'd be a homerun hire

When Bronco leaves look for there to be a surge of pressure from the community of BYU players (and prominent alumni) to hire someone who grew up in the BYU program and who understands the college football landscape outside of BYU.

Kalani Sitake is far and away BYU's best potential hire looking forward. Setting aside the cosmetic fact that hiring a Poly would be great PR for BYU and would help in recruiting the islands, Sitake has earned his stripes somewhere other than BYU, and has maintained positive relations with his alma mater even while coaching at its rival.
