It's a bullet point, but it doesn't prevent a coach from having success. But he can't bring any gravitas to the table if he hasn't coached outside the state of Utah. I hope he has a couple of great years, is considered a hot commodity and either gets picked up as DC by top 10 program or gets a HC gig somewhere. He needs to pay his dues. His BYU bonafides are established. I couldn't care less if he's a grad. But his coaching bonafides aren't established until he does it outside Bronco's shadow.
