I got in a very interesting discussion on my flight to Austin today with a 23 year old Jewish kid from LA. He was a USC fan but his boss was LDS. He seemed to have a lot of admiration for Mormons and especially Jimmer. He said he was amazing to watch in college and ranked him with JJ reddick. Anyway he started asking me in depth questions about missions and asked why it didn't help basketball and football players. After my lengthy diatribe of how a mission does nothing but deteriorate any athletic skills you may have , he asked me who the best RM athlete was he would know. I struggled to answer. I couldn't remember if Pitta was an RM and I wanted to give him someone from his generation. So I said uhhhh ... John Beck? In basketball Mark Madsen and Shawn Bradley. Of course Travis Hansen and TYLER Haws but he didn't know either of them. There's not a lot. Who am I missing?
